Behavior is entirely Dependent On Self-Image

The data in the subconscious mind governs the self-image and the self-image controls our effectiveness. It then becomes obvious that if we want to change our behavior, we must add information to the subconscious that will reflect itself in that behavior.

Human beings are always changing and growing. They have an insatiable, never-ending need to better themselves. Around the self-image is built everything they do. It is the core of their being.

Moment by moment you make your claims on life, monitor your experiences, attend to sensory impressions, experience your body and its functions, your mind and its thoughts. This way you can discover yourself. You record your triumphs, failures and even humiliations, they are all yours.

There will be aspects of yourself that will puzzle you, as well as such aspects you are not aware of. So long you are self-accepting you will put the pieces together.

This will be your Self-Image. How you look, what you say, what you think and do, what you feel and believe at this very moment - all this is you. This is the image you yourself have defined.

We carry with us own blue print or picture of our selves.

Why is this self-image so important? Without question, the essential key to human personality and behavior is the self-image. Even our achievements are limited by how we view ourselves. If our self-image is altered, our behavior and personality are affected by the change.

All our expectations, desires, relations with others, our performance, opportunities all depend entirely how we evaluate our selves.

"This sane mechanism within you can help you to achieve your opinions that you have perceived and
stored about yourself. It is the subconscious picture of yourself that was recorded from what you thought you were perceiving about your potential and the world around you and the picture controls how you think and perform."

"An image not only invokes what is not present but enables us to retain an emotional disposition
towards an absent person. Images soon become a foundation of inner reality towards an absent object. The image of your mother may evoke the love you feel for her, or hate; even after her death, her image remains with you and so does your love and hatred for her. Image becomes a substitute for external object. It is actually inner object, that is a product of mind, In order to have a true visual image of your mother, you have seen her in the external world but when an image is formed that image is a part of you, of your inner life."

"Although no image can produce reality absolutely, the countless images that have been filed in your minds archives shape and form the image that you have about yourself and the world around you. At times you may want to remove yourself from reality, you may want to have an alternative; it is then you visualize things in a different ways."

"Attaining image of your choice may not only be an attempt to gratify a longing desire for that which is not available, but may also be springboard to creativity. If your images can reproduce something desirable that exists but that is not available, you may be motivated to act, to search and to find the object. If the desired object is not available you may create it."

(Quotations from, 'A New Self-Image' by Dr. Peter M. Kalellis)

Human development is important as external reality. The phenomena of images makes a crucial contribution to personality. We have as many types of images as sensations but two prevailing types are of profound importance.

1)    Visual

2)    Auditory.

These are processed by mind and may not mirror simultaneously equivalents in the external words. An Image is an image and not a reality. You look at your face in the mirror, it is not real you. What the mirror reflects is not a faithful reproduction of yourself; however it causes the experience to produce a feeling related to you.

All you have to learn is how to change this picture by investing a little energy in it, by proven methods which are so easy and close to you that you have over looked them. I t only takes a new look and a new insight.

IS IT A GOOD IDEA FOR CHILDREN TO PRACTICE SPORTS A LOT.

Sports brave always been an un separable part of a schoolchild's life. But does it really do so much good after all? This is the topic we are going to talk about today.

First the advantages. The most obvious one is probably the effect a moderate amount of exercise has on the child. Experience shows that children who exercise regularly are more attentive in class than children who never exercise. I remember that I felt a lot more concentrated in class when I was in fourth grade, when I was in a soccer team, than in fifth grade, when I dropped out and stopped exercising entirely. Exercise also has effects on a child's confidence, both in the means of shaping the child's body and giving the child a competition-conscious mind. For example, one of my best friends spent a lot of time on track when she was in primary school, ending up being among the tallest girls in school and having a somewhat superior feeling being able to run faster than anyone else.

But too much sport or improper guidance can be harmful. Being too involved usually ends up in the child feeling tired all the time or taking up too much time that was originally meant for study or play. Children can easily get too worked up in competitions and if this goes without steering, the child may develop wrong views towards winning and losing and life in general. It may also be harmful towards a child's body. Gymnastics, for instance, is known to be harsh towards the gymnasts, usually ending them up small and short. Many sports are dangerous, and children may be crippled when injured in the course of game.

So what attitude should we take up when we are facing such a question? As I see it, children's sports, despite the dangers, should be supported. After all, a moderate amount of sport is essential for a healthy child, and really getting involved in a sport can help build a child's reflexes, skills in sports in general, not to say the understanding of teamwork. So young children spending a lot of time on sports should be a good sign. It means that these children are learning young what they will need to know all their lives.

IS IT MORE IMPORTANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT BUSINESS OR ABOUT AGRICULTURE?

This essay is an example of how our minds think of a learning field. It is difficult to decide whether to build a business research center or an agriculture research center. As for me, I personally prefer to construct the agriculture research center in my country, China. There are two reasons for my position; the agriculture is very important to my country and the less young people like to work in the agriculture.

First of all, the agriculture is very important for my country. The large population cause my country to have the problem that there are still lots of people cannot eat enough food. If we do not improve our country's agriculture technology, it will be hard to resolve the food problem. So building the agriculture  research center can offer us more information about the development technology and help us to produce more food. We can learn lots of other developed country's advantages through researching and use these information to advance our country's agriculture. Thus , the agriculture research center can give us many benefits.

Another reason is that the young people begin to ignore the agriculture in my country. They do not like to study agriculture, because they think they cannot earn a lot of money by learning agriculture. The flourishing business attracts them. Especially in villages, everybody want to work in the city, and nobody care the corps. It causes only the old experts continue to study the agriculture, no new persons can help them to think the problems. The old experts have limited knowledge. They are hard to get the new things. If more young persons can be volunteers to work for agriculture, more problems will be resolved quickly. There, the young people need to realize the importance of agriculture because they can make more profits in agriculture.

In short, people have different perspectives on building a business center or an agriculture center. However, I am convinced that we need to build the agriculture center. Following my country's situation, the question that whether the people can eat enough or not is the most important things. Therefore, the ignorance of agriculture will make our country go to the famine country.

SHOULD EXERCISE BE A MANDATORY PART OF THE SCHOOL DAY?

This is essay is an example of how Conscious mind is trained at school. In my opinion, physical exercise or physical education is an essential part of children's education, for so many reasons. First of all, to maintain physical fitness of students, secondly, to promote sportsmanship and camaraderie among students and lastly to create a more disciplined behavior of the students.

Exercise helps the body become healthy and fit. The movement coming from physical exertion due to exercise promotes circulation of blood to all parts of the body, thus, enhances the distribution of nutrients from different parts of the body and also it promotes oxygenation of the cells and burning of unwanted fats resulting to vigor and stamina. Also, exercise help prevent diseases and sickness like, heart attack, lung diseases and obesity.

Furthermore, exercise develops camaraderie and sportsmanship among student. This is specially when they play as a team. Students are able to identify their worth in a team and are able to develop their ability to work with a team to be able to reach their common goal, that is to defeat their opponent and come out victorious. They develop friendship with various people because they get to play with other people most of the time, thus, improving the social aspect of their personality. Students become extrovert and active as I observed if they continuously join sports and other form of exercises.

Lastly, This is a good investment in their personality as they grow up because exercise and sports teach them to become  disciplined, patient and friendly. Most of all they become result oriented with their work as they see to it that they persevere in every field that they get into. When they grow up to be come matured individuals, it will not be hard for them to deal with other people and they will always see to it that they put their hearts and minds in everything that they do, as what they have learned in sports while they were still young.

While it is true that academic subjects should be put into priority, I still believe that physical exercise in school should be given the same importance, because it helps develop the emotional, social and physical aspect of a student, preparing him to become a great individual in the future.

CHOOSE AN ANIMAL THAT IS IMPORTANT IN YOUR COUNTRY.

This essay is an example of how our mind thinks of other beings. According to me an animal could be considered important based on what it contributes to mankind. In India the most important animal is the Cow. It is important as it provides a source of food to people, it is an animal which can be used for labor, also the cow is religiously worshiped by the Indian people.

Majority of the people in India are Hindus. According to hindu beliefs and customs, the cow is religiously worshiped. Temples are built in respect of the animal, and the animal itself is considerd holy. These animals are allowed to wander freely anywhere they please, whether it be on the farm lands and fields, or the city streets. In Mumbai and other metropolitan cities of India one would find many cows roaming on the streets. People will very often buy grass and hay, to feed the animals. Although they do cause hindrance to vehicular traffic, but people would never harm them. Car drivers would patiently wait for a cow to move off the center of the road, without honking
their horns or doing anything to scare the animal. This is because of the fact that they worship the animal, and they feel that the animal is important. According to the Hindu religion the god Shri Krishan happened to also be a cow herder, and hence the cow is also worshiped.

In India the main source of milk, happens to be the cow. Every day several million liters of milk are supplied by dairies all over India. They happen to be the cheapest supply of milk for the people, without which tens of thousands of babies would go undernourished.
Thousands of varieties of dairy products and sweets are made from fresh cows milk. Without the cow this would not be possible. Hence the animal is of prime importance to the nation. Also apart from milk, the cow also happens to be the main source of meat in the country. Beef is widely consumed throughout the country. The Muslim community, which happens to be the second largest community in India, are forbidden by religion to consume pork or any other form of pig meat. For them and for other communities also, the cow happens to be the only source of meat, as goats and sheep are not reared in as large numbers and are not found as abundantly as the cow is.

Apart form being a source of meat, the cow is also used on farms for ploughing the fields, and for pulling the bullock carts. In India the farm lands are not consolidated, and hence are very often divided among  family members. This makes the size of the farm plots very small. Also most farmers are not very wealthy. Due to these reasons automation is not feasible. Hence for ploughing the fields, for carrying the grains etc cows are employed on the farms. Cows are also considered as very docile and tamed, and loving animals which can easily be used as animals of burden.

For the Indian people, the cow is not just as an animal of worship, but also a source of food and milk. It is also a very useful animal of burden and can be tamed easily. Hence it has gained the most importance in India.

B    Self-Image

The Self Image is deemed to be the greatest discovery is psychology, of this century.

Whether we realize it or not, each one of us carries about us a mental picture of ourselves. It may be vague or unrecognizable to our conscious mind. But it is there, down to the last details. It is our own evaluation of ourselves. This is our Self-Image, our own conception of "the kind of person I am". It has been built up from our own evaluation and experiences about ourselves picked up during our lives. Self-Image has been built up from our beliefs about ourselves. But most of these beliefs about us have been built up, unconsciously from our past experiences in life, the success, failures, our humiliations, our triumphs, the way other people have dealt and interacted with us, particularly during the early childhood. With these experiences we mentally constructed a "self". Once an idea or  picture goes into this it becomes "true". We do not question its validity but proceed to act upon it, just as if it were true. We literally cannot do anything that is outside our Self-Image.

The Self-Image is the golden key to success and happiness because of two important discoveries. There are three basic truths about Self-Image:

1)       All our actions, thoughts, feelings, emotions, reactions and even circumstances are always consistent with our Self-Image.

2)       The barriers we erect to our growth are always internal barriers. The lack of love is the internal fear that one does not deserve love. The absence of achievement is the result of a genuine belief that one could never achieve a high goal.

3)       The Self-Image can be changed at will. It is never too late to start a new life.

We will act out the sort of person we perceive ourselves to be and just cannot be otherwise, despite ant conscious effort or use of will-power of the contrary.

Self-Images is the base or the foundation on which is built your entire personality, behavior and even circumstances. Our experiences verify and strengthen out Self-Images and a vicious or beneficent cycle, is set up. Because of this objective "proof" it seldom occurs to a person that his trouble lies with the Self-Image.

It is our sub-conscious mind that controls our habits, attitudes, behavior, performance and indeed our potential. Self-Image is a sub-conscious picture, no amount of effort on the conscious mind can change it. Only when there is a change on the sub-conscious level that there can be a change in behavior, habits, attitude or performance.

What is my Self-Image? It is my mind's eye, purely a mental representation of me. As we conceive an idea, we also form an Image of some one we know, we have read or heard from others. When we see the person we redefine the image that becomes a part of our mental file.

Self-Image is my own concept or evaluation of the sort of person I am. It is a product of past experiences, success and failures, humiliations and triumphs and the way others react to me. From such factors you build up a picture of yourself which up believe to be true.

You are the writer; the director, you are the actor in this picture.

The Self-Image is the overall average of the carious attitudes which we hold towards our capabilities in a multitude of areas. It is the "picture we have of ourselves" Our Self-Image, therefore, is of utmost importance because we cannot by any more effective, more successful, better coordinated, more creative or anything other than what our self-image says we are. It is the ceiling on the effectiveness with which we can use our future potential. In fact it controls our entire potential such as Intelligence, capability, attitudes, performance etc.

WHAT TIME AND PLACE IN HISTORY WOULD YOU LIKE TO VISIT?

This essay is an example of how we think of the great history from our two minds. Everyone has some fond memories of their past. Each one of us wish to go back in time to enjoy those days again, though we know that it is not practically possible.

I would love go back in time and place and try to relive the days before I got married.I would want to spend more time with my parents and sister.Enjoy the freedom I had in taking some decisions.I would enjoy doing the same things I used to do,like going to the college, having fun with my friends without having the pressure of going back home soon and look after my husband and kids.I used to enjoy the cool breeze of the small town, where I come from. There was no pollution,no traffic. The flowers would be in full bloom at this time of the year. The night skies would be clear with twinkling stars and the bright moon.

Right now, though I enjoy my life to the fullest,I am the one who is taking care of everyone at home, with no time left for myself. In the days before my marriage,I had my mother to take care of me,when I was sick she would sit beside me,rubbing my forehead and soothing me.I would immediately feel better. These days, even if I am sick,I have to cook and clean and there is no one to even share my pain with.I had some financial burden then too but it was not as it is now.I have this constant feeling of pressure to work hard and earn more so that tomorrow my children peruse whatever they want to without thinking about money and if they can afford it or not.And the busy city life, the roads filled with dirt, the polluted air that gets into my lungs chocking me at times.I don't have many friends here as I moved here recently and people are so that no one finds time to socialize.

But realistically, I am a more confident person than I was in those days.I don't feel I am being watched upon by my mother.I love the house I have now, which is my own,my children and my husband.I am content with the success I have in my career. It is only when I am tired of the monotony and the pressure of adult life that I would like to go back in time and place to the days before my marriage and to my home town, relax under a tree and enjoy the cool pure breeze.

IS HOMEWORK IMPORTANT FOR STUDENTS?

This essay is an example of how the young minds think of a thing as good or as bad.  Teachers play a very important role in an individual’s life. We learn many useful things from them. With the help of this knowledge, we become successful in our work. In my opinion, being aware of the importance of work responsibility is very important in advanced business world. One should be careful with his work. This responsibility is gained at early ages. For this reason, I believe that daily homework is very necessary and helpful for all the students.
First of all, homework, which is assigned to a group of students, gives them the chance to work as a team. As long as, success comes from careful planning and team working, it is very useful for students to work in groups. By this way, they learn how to cooperate with each other. For example, if one solves a problem, which the other students cannot solve, she can explain the problem to her friends and by this way, they learn to help each other and share their knowledge. During the preparation of the homework, students go to libraries to find out useful material books. By this way one learns how to search for what he needs.
Secondly, during the preparation of the homework, students go to libraries to find out useful material and books. By this way, one learns how to make a research. Getting all the material together, arranging them and preparing a report an important point to which all the students should pay attention. Students can divide their homework in to different parts and each student can be responsible of one part. Preparing homework and presenting it in front of the class and expressing themselves is a good experience for the students’ future life.
All this considered, I think that homework is very necessary and helpful for students. Homework does really help us to get prepared for the future. And, we should be careful and do it neatly if we want to be successful in our future life.

HAVE AUTOMOBILES HURT OR HARMED THE WORLD?

This essay is an example of how our created things from two minds have helped us or harmed us. How do we think of our created things from our minds? Most people think that the automobile is the most important and useful invention of the twentieth century. They think that automobiles have improved modern life.  Others think that the automobile has caused serious problems. In my opinion, automobiles have improved modern life and caused problems at the same time. I will try to figure out my reasons in this essay.
First of all, if we approach to the subject as a technological invention, an automobile is a great thing. It provides comfort for the people. One can go from one place to another quickly and comfortably. Furthermore, you don’t have to wait for the bus, if you have a private car. On the other hand going to all the places by car can cause a lot of money.
Nowadays, owning a car has become very important for most people. As soon as one has enough money, he goes to an automobile gallery. They want to live comfortably, and think owning a car will provide them a comfortable life. But, there are also some serious problems, which are caused by automobiles. For example, air is polluted because of the carbon dioxide gas which comes from car engines. As the number of cars increases, we see more accidents on the streets.
It is possible to solve the problems which are caused by the automobiles. If the road are improved, then, there will be less accidents. The drivers also should be very careful while driving and obey the rules.
We can prevent air pollution by using public transportation. We can use public transportation while commuting to our offices and use our cars on the weekends.
In the light of the discussion above, it can be said that there are some problems automobiles may cause, but we can reduce them by obeying the rules or using them less and preferring public transportation.

DO YOU AGREE OR DISAGREE? "GRADES ARE GREAT MOTIVATORS FOR STUDENTS."

This essay is an example of how much our minds have the potential to work for something. If we take any results as granted, we can do anything.  Learning is a great tool.  Grades are great reward for a good learning.  Attending school is a great way to acess your learning ability and performance. I believe that grades are great indicators of a good learning for the  following reasons: They prove how well he or she has learned the topic, area of weakness, and what it needs to be done to improve.
Grades prove how well he or she has learned the topic.  Take for instance, if a person take an exam and perform poorly, then this prove that he did not prepare for the exam enough to pass.  Therefore, grades are great indicators if a person was prepared for an exam or not.
Grades will also prove the area of weakness. Exams tend to gear the student on how to approach a particular exam and how to focus on the area of weakness.  For example, if a person is preparing for a national exam, he or she must focus on the areas where he or she lacks.  Grades will show which areas he or she performed well and the areas of poor performance.  This set a guidelines for a student to prepare more precisely to sharpen his weak area.
Grades also help student study harder.  A student has the tendency to study harder if he or she gets a positive reward.  For example, I used to be very unhappy if I did not pass an exam.  Therefore, I took my unhappiness and anger toward my studying and put more hours into the subject so I can perform better.  I recall an incidence in high school when I had failed my official exam which it made me realize that studying less will not be the solution and studying hard was my only way to pass this exam.
Grades are essential to every student and I believe it is a great way to gear student ability, and performance.  They do help a student to focus, work harder, and concentrate and the area of weakness.  Finally, assessment is a way of encouraging, and improving each student learning.

HOW COMPUTER HELPED OR HURT OUR LIVES?

This essay is an example of how we think of a machine. The machine who is made by our both minds. Life has changed a lot since the invention of computers. The computer influences our lives and we influence the world by using the computer. I believe that the computer have made our lives a lot easier and convenient for the following reasons.

First of all, we save a lot of time using a computer and this makes life a lot easier. How much time would we spent waiting in banks in order to get the information we like to receive or we urgently need. With our personal computer we don´t even have to leave our homes. Online banking allows us to get the information through the internet and to get it immediately.

Second, we will save not only time but also money. Nowadays nearly every company can be contacted through electronic mail or internet. If we like to buy a special product we can do this using our personal computer. What we pay is the price for the product and the telephone costs for using the internet, but nothing has to be paid for gasoline or other transportation costs.

Furthermore, I would like to lay stress on the advantage which is created through the access to information via internet. Students, for instance, have to do a lot of research work for the university. With your computer you get an access to other universities all over the world.

To sum up, I believe that the advantages of computers outweigh the disadvantages of this invention. I recommend everyone who thinks that life is getting more complex and stressful should start learning more about the good sides of the computer.

DISCUSS A DISCOVERY THAT HAS BENEFITED YOUR COUNTRY.

This essay is a example of the people who discover new things. These people have there both Minds (Conscious and Sub-Conscious) working together perfectly. When both minds work together so we don't even know whom we helped from the work of these two minds. There are various discoveries in our countries int the last 100 years. I am sure that the exploitation of natural gas layer in the continental shelf of our country was the important one of them.
There are several reasons which are listed as follows.
First of all, the natural gas can enhance the ability of competition in price. There are a litte resource to produce in our country, so we must import it. Discovery of natural gas provided power plant and company energy to produce goods to export. Thus, we could save the money to spend to run plants. Therefore the price of production was lowed.
Second, the exploitation of natural gas supplied us with diverse another natural resources. The natural gas layer imply the possibility of oil buried beneath it. Of course, our country are investigating in the continental of shelf in our sea.
Finally, we are independent of the change of the  energy resources in price. Most people had to be careful the rise of oil in the past. It was essential for Government to comprehend the supply of energy. Furthermore, company took pains to compensate for the rise of cost during production.
In conclusion, the discovery of natural gas gave rise to a lot of changes. It is needless to worry about the rising cost. And we can improve the competitive power in world markets. Through the exploiting of oil, we will need not to export energy resource any more.

Continuation

Last time I was talking about a formula of reality on Sub-Conscious Mind:-

I (Image)    X   V (Vividly)  =   R (Reality on the subconscious)

The process of creative thinking gets to work, when disorder is created, it works in four stages, subconsciously:

1) Disorder,   2) Incubation,  3) Illumination, and 4) Creative Implementation

Stage 1.   Disorder

The problem does not seem to get solved at the conscious level and the thinker eventually turns away from it, but the programming on the subconscious gets to work with its creativity and energy.

Stage 2.   Incubation

After the 1st. Stage, Incubation takes place. During this period some of the ideas that interfere with the solution fade away. The Sub-Conscious mind gets to work during this period of incubation. Automatic integration takes place.

Stage 3.   Illumination

2nd Stage leads to illumination. It occurs with its insight experience; very creatively an idea for the solution suddenly wells up into the conscious mind.

Stage 4.  Creative Implementation

With illumination, the subconscious mind gives out signals to the conscious mind, to creatively implement what is illuminated with as flashes of brilliance and creativity. This is hoe the goal or a reality is programmed on the subconscious mind and is automatically achieved.

Do you agree or disagree? "Playing games is important for both children and adults."

This essay is example of developing the Sub-Conscious Mind which is really important in our brain. Sub-Conscious Mind is the place creativity comes from. Playing games makes us feel free and creative. Makes us look cool and different. Everyone likes games and games are said to be for children. By playing games children learn new things and have enjoyable time. As long as adults also need to learn new things and need enjoyable time after a long depressing working day, games are as important for adults as they are for children. Games are important because they make adults keep their minds sharp, learn new things and besides maintain social skills.

A few days ago, I came across a newspaper article and it was stated that modern research had shown that grown up adults could continue to grow brain cells by exercising their minds. When I thought about it, I found out that no other way other than playing games could manage to do it. By concentrating on the tactics of the game, keeping the track of your opponent’s strategies, you can keep your brain functioning and growing. Some games can teach us a lot. Games that ask questions are not only enjoyable but also show us what we don’t know. The best way to learn a thing is answering a question wrong because then you never forget the correct answer. It is always easier to keep something in mind when you realize you don’t know it.

The other important point is that playing games is enjoyable. Not only children, but also adults need to forget about the problems of the real world. Games provide everybody a new view of life. You just concentrate on the game, and so don’t think of anything else. Games get people together. By this way, one can observe people’s reactions towards different situations. It is always very interesting to watch the others. Nobody is same, and we can learn new thing from others. Maintaining personal contacts is important for everyone.

Finally I can say that games are as important for adults as they are for children. Regardless of your age ,playing games can help you keep your mind alert, learn new things, and build friendship.

Do you like to do things quickly or slowly?

This essay is an example of different people whose both minds (Conscious and Sub-Conscious) work together or not. Some would answer to the above question Slowly but some will answer Quickly. But why? Slowly answered people's both minds are not yet been developed to work together. But the people who answered Quickly, these people's minds are ready and are working together to many jobs and achieve many goals by working together. Elders say that Two person when working together can do anything but one can't even clean his head. I think I would prefer to hurry to get things done than to take my time and live life at a slower pace because it allows me to do things over a short period of time, make my self available for opportunities and it makes one to be efficient in life.

Firstly, life on earth is short and I would advise anyone who cares to listen that it is advisable to do things on time knowing fully well that you cannot live forever and that your impact should be felt by people around you. Imagine, if everyone takes their time to do every thing that they should do, things wouldn't be done on time, there would be chaos, anarchy and total disorder. For example, the police would fight crime when they feel like or the president of a country would address urgent humanitarian needs at his own time or children would go to school when they feel like.Such a situation would lead to the total breakdown of a society.

If I have to do things at my time, then I would miss a lot of opportunities in life. For example, if an unemployed graduate like myself spends the whole day doing chores in the house, when I could do the house chores quickly and attend seminars related to my field that could keep me updated on recent developments in my field and in the long run enhance my job prospects.

Imagine, if workers in a company take their time to do things at a slower pace, then such an organisation is bound to fail because things wouldn't be done on time and such a company would lag behind its competitors.

No matter what some people feel I think is better for people to do things in a hurry to prevent disaster, promote efficiency and make one available for opportunities.

Is it more important to take risks or to plan carefully if you want to be successful?

This is essay is an example of how Conscious Mind works to plan on to something carefully. Thinking more options than this only. This makes this side of brain to be more realistic and exceptional. Success is the sweetest fruit a person desires in life. But the path to success is often so very confusing. In fact every successful person have his or her own receipt for this dish.

Careful planning is no doubt the most rational way to achieve success in life. Unless and until we plan our steps ahead of time our work doesn't remain well organised and until our effort is organised properly we may not achieve success. However, human beings being mortal and their powers being limited, no one can predict the future with a very high degree of accuracy. Thus arises the necessity of making predictions and taking risks. There may be times when we are faced with multiple alternatives none of which are perfectly favorable - we have to make a guess and perhaps hope for the best.

In our country, we are required to qualify in a competitive examination in order to get admitted into an Engineering College. The first time I sat for this examination, I failed miserably. I had to get admitted into a General college with Physics as my major. I then decided to go for the technical colleges a second time. I did it and did it well. In my Physics course, however, I barely managed to pass through into the second year. It was a great risk. I could have failed in the competitive examination the second time too. I could have fell sick on the day of the examination. I could have got into a big trouble. In fact, some of my friends who took the same examination with me failed the second time too and are now passing through hard times.

So, there cannot be any golden rule to success. It's a receipt with a bowl of planning and perhaps one or two spoonful of risks. The exact proportions depend largely on the individual concerned and the situation. Those who can identify the correct proportions come out with flying colors; others fade into the millions. God has not given us the power to predict the future, but he has surely equipped all of us to be able to measure the pros and cons. We are all capable of taking calculated risks and that's what is required. How much calculation and how much risk .. well, no golden rule!

Which do you enjoy more? Doing something you have nor tried before or doing something that you are skilled at?

This essay is an example when two of the minds (Conscious and Sub-Conscious) work together to do something new and exciting. Emotions and Risk both make the work done. People have varying habits and preferences. Some like to apply what they have learned and continue doing the same while others like to try new paths and take risks. Both kind of people have reasons for what they do. I prefer to explore and take conservative risks.
By doing what they do well, people can plan how they want to do it and for how long. This adds security to their life. They don't have to worry much about failing in whatever they do. The downside to this approcach is making life routine or boring. But that is good for people who don't like surprises. People who have a family to take care of, especially small kids, would take this approach.

On the other hand people who chose to do new things, will find a lot of surprises coming their way. They will be constantly challenged to do their best. This is good for people who like living on the edge. But this adds a lot of insecurity to their life. People who don't have lot of responsibilities and have enough resources to weather out occasional failures are most likely to try out new things.

Someone like me, who is at their early stages of life, have lot of enthusiasm and energy to pursue different things and explore new horizons. This allows them to be independent and make a mark of their own and their is potential for big rewards. Since I don't have the resources to make through really bad setbacks, I would take a conservative approach to taking risks. Before venturing into trying new things, I will assess the possible risk and make sure that is something I can afford.

At different stages of life people make different choices. While doing things they know well can bring security to peoples lives, I prefer to try out new things and take risks, because of the potential for big rewards and I like being challenged.

What are the qualities of a good son or daughter?

This essay is example to the emotions of a parent who wants a son or daughter to be good with these qualities which are stated below. This is a function of subconscious mind to generate images and them emotions from it. he qualities of a good son or daughter, through the ages, have a great deal of differences from those ones which were appropriated once. However, a few qualities are the same as the ones in the past years.
Firstly, I will give some changes in the following statements. In the past time of China, parents hope their son is so strong and brave that they would be supported and protected in their ages because man is easily able to earn living supply, such as food, clothes, house and so on, or make money to buy them. The daughter is expected being of tender and gentle so that she would get married a good man, that means she would have a good fortune and her parents would not be worried because she does not make a living herself. As a good son or daughter, one of the most important qualities is he or she has to be obedient and submissive everything for their parent. For example, he or she would marry with a person who would be satisfied by their parents rather than loved by themself. However, in modern society, no matter son or daughter, the best quality is that they are positive, motivating, responsible facing their life. Parents hope their son or daughter capable of do everything independently and wisely referring to their suggestion.
Secondly, several good qualities are remained and are developed. With the development of society, more and more girls are educated and are able to support herself, even others. Hence, the qualities of a good boy basically are the same as those of a good girl. In general, almost parents adore their children, in turn they need to be loved by them, especially the olds. Therefore, no matter modern or past time, to Care for their parents is regard as one of the necessary qualities. Additional, their excellent behave and amazing performance are also appreciated by their parents, such as he or she is diligent and concentrated in their study and do their best in doing everything.
Of course, every parents have different viewpoints of the qualities of a child. I think the most primary qualities are he or she is of love, enterprise and responsibility around them.

UNIT - B SELF-IMAGE & SELF-ESTEEM

The Creative Sub-Conscious Mind

Man's behavior always confirms exactly to his programming on his subconscious. But, when on the conscious level, one sees oneself performing differently to his programming on the sub-conscious, it creates disorder and conflict with in.

According to Gastalt Psychology, mind always restores the order, arising out of the conflicting picture perceived by the conscious mind and the one programmed (Reality) by the subconscious, by restoring the subconscious version which is the dominant picture. Immense creativity and energy is then released to make the person acquire all the skill, knowledge, capability and resources to achieve that picture through conscious efforts. Subconscious utilizes all the tremendous, known as well as unknown, powers to restore the subconscious goal or picture. It has the full support of the conscious mind in this operation.

The reality on the subconscious is created in the following manner:

There is a WORD that creates a PICTURE or an IMAGE, which causes EMOTION.

On finer levels, an image is formed with every thought on mind. If that image is repeated vividly on the conscious with emotion, it creates a reality on the subconscious; it gets "PROGRAMMED". Once programmed the subconscious mind controls behavior.

The formula for reality on the subconscious therefore is:-

Do you agree or disagree? "Technology helps people learn quickly and efficiently."

This essay explains about the learning and growth of conscious and subconscious mind from the modern technology. This is an example for you to understand. With the help of technology , students can learn more information and that too more quickly. This is absolutely correct.I would like to support my answer with some reasons.
First, technological learning  is more interactive in its learning process than just sitting and reading a book or just listening to a lecture. For example the learning by the means of Computer technology is very interactive ,today, and hence the growth is simultaneous.
Second, using such kind of techniques, mind actually grows more and the person becomes an intellectual person with the passage of time.
Third, the traditional methods of learning like lectures given by teachers or notes given in books
do not let the student become independent rather the student becomes more dependent due to the spoon feeding being done to it.
Fourth, the technological  advances in different fields definitely give a lot of exposure to those who were earlier naive in this field of Technology.
Lastly, human mind is such that it has the capacity to absorb more data if things are taught to him practically.Like if there is a model of an Electric Iron shown in the Book , which is explained by the teacher and the students are made to understand the working. The other way could be this that the children are shown a real Electric Iron as a  model and then the working of its different parts is being explained.Definitely the grasping power will be more in the latter case.
Therefore , in the end i would like to conclude my essay by saying that with the passage of time the demands and the necessities of the Time are changing too.So are the changes in the students mental level and the methods of teaching.Technological methods undoubtedly score higher than the traditional ones.

Do you agree or disagree? "There is no reason to study the past since we live in the present."

This essay explains about the modern conscious mind on studying the old techniques in a new way or not. Students in every part of the world pass some courses in history when they are in high school. Some of the students like such courses and some don't. The people who don't like to study history always argue that it is the story of the past and doesn't add any value for their present and future life. On the contrary, I think they are wrong. I believe that studying and learning about past will help us in future decisions in our life.
First of all, consider the example of different wars in the history which has happened between different countries. What were the main reasons for first and second world war ? how did it end ? Now if we compare the advantage and disadvantage of such wars we will see that some thing was very common. Some one who had been in power becomes so proud of his power that suddenly acts like a blind and doesn't see other facts around him. This has resulted several disasters in our history. People can learn to be open and negotiable when they know that 90% of the wars ended in loss for either side of the countries fighting.
The next benefit which we can gain through studying the past, is about the life of successful people. It doesn't matter how you define success, whether you define it with money or knowledge, they both converge on some unique characteristics which we can learn only by studying the past wealthy or scientists lives. We can find out about the factors which most influenced their success and find some  common factors between them. This a good resource for us in deciding for future actions in our life.
In conclusion, I believe there is lots of value in studying the past. It helps us better align our strategies toward success. It also helps us to learn about the mistakes of other people and teaches us not to repeat them. People who think there is no value in learning about history and the past are blind to the above mentioned facts.

Do you agree or disagree? "For children, it is better to grow up in the country than in the city."

This essay explains about the mind growth of a child in a city or a country. This essay explains the difference between the mind. I agree that it is better for children to grow up in the countryside than in a big city.

First of all, in the countryside, children can be acquainted with nature which is hard to get acquainted in a big city. Often nature roles as a good teacher. For example, trees, flowers, animals, and insects can be children's biology teacher themselves. Personally I think themselves are the best teachers.

And I can think of the environmental differences between city and countryside. In a big city, pollution is major problem for quite many diseases.
It's very obvious for people who lives in city to more likely have allergy problems such as asthma, rhinitis and so forth. But people who enjoys fresh air and sunshine in the countryside has vigorous healthy life.

And in a big city, high rate of crimes makes people tend to lock themselves in their own teritoty only. People become more self-centered and cold. But in the countryside, people still open their house to neighbors, sometimes even to strangers. There are loving relations among people in the countryside.

In short, children can learn from nature and be raised as big hearted persons in the countryside.
More over, they would  be healthier in the countryside than in a city. So I really prefer raise my children in the countryside to in a big city.

Is it more important for a government to spend money on public transportation (buses, subways, etc.) or on roads?

This essay explains about the conscious mind in working state. How it finds solutions to a problems. It is an example for you to understand. There is an unresolved controversy what is more important for the city - convenient public transport or the well developed net of highways and roads. That is really a hard question because while each of the ways brings some advancement in the standard of leaving, it also has its own weaknesses. Nevertheless, I personally believe, that public transport is an essential part of the modern city so it has to get support from the government. I will try to prove my point by the following ideas.
Firstly, public transport decreases the amount of the vehicles on the city's roads and thus, reduces the harmful pollution. For instance, I have grown up in the big city with the population over eight million people. Fortunately, not that many people could afford the personal car back than, so we did not really have any noticeable problems with the quality of the air. But nowadays, when car became a prevalent convenience for every middle-income family, city faces a real problem. The enormous amount of the cars in the streets create traffic problems, roads in the downtown are absolutely solid during the rush hours. Apparently, the pollution of the air reached the critical point and government has to urgently find the solution. I think that public transport can significantly benefit the environment.
On the other hand, well-developed and convenient net of public transport will drastically increase the safety of the city's roads. Obviously, when the professional drivers are in charge the collisions happen not that often. Furthermore, during the rush hours, especially in the evening, when people are in a hurry to get home after the working day, they do not pay much attention to their driving. On the other hand, the professional drivers that have been trained to deal with the stress on the roads are able to concentrate better. So, more people leave their cars at the garages in the morning, less collisions we will have during the day.
Resuming the above, I would like to say that if I were the government I would pay more support and attention to the public transport's condition then that to the highways and roads. The convenient net of the public transport is able to benefit environment and increase safety on the roads. My personal opinion is that the public transport is an essential element of the modern city.

Should going to class at school be optional or required?

This essay tells about the conscious mind thinking. Optional attendance to classes at universities has been an increasingly popular way for students to study for several years in quite a few countries. However, it has not yet had its intended results as it had been hoped. In fact, today, this system seems to be one of the reasons for the corruption of university education. In my opinion, compulsory attendance is better than having no requirement to attend all the lessons on-campus.

There are two points of view to this question. First, one side will say that university students are adults and should be able to manage their time as they see fit. This point of view says that sometimes, in today’s busy world, people need flexibility to manage their lives. For example, many single parents who are trying to earn their college degrees will sometimes need to skip a class because of the demands of their other responsibilities. However, I believe that the great majority of college students are young and single, and have few responsibilities, and that they need the discipline and structure of a system that requires attendance. Young people who have just gone off to college are notorious for the excesses to which they enjoy their freedom.

There are many negative situations caused by the free-attendance system. The most harmful one is the economic waste for both universities and students. Many students who do not attend classes regularly are likely to suffer decreased performance on their exams and therefore waste their time in college. They, generally, do not feel panic because of the failures or restudying the same subjects for the second time. However, this sometimes costs a fortune to both parents and the government that have created tax-funded subsidies for education for each student every year. Not only are the university fees wasted, but also the money for accommodations and other spending are also wasted.

On the other hand, students who are required to attend classes regularly have no time to waste in pubs or clubs. Nor can they spend these young years, which are more valuable to them to learn and think than any other period in their lives, on gambling or drinking. I do not mean they are only to study without any break or entertainment. Their social life is as necessary as studying during the hard academic years, yet, the amount of each should be balanced well. More spare time than necessary encourages the young to ignore studying and classes. Thus, neither the universities nor the students do their best if the students have too much freedom not to study.

To sum up, many teenagers are not able to think sensibly to decide when to study and when to enjoy with friends. A scheduled chart of classes which have a huge number of options that are necessary to identify the best fitting one for each student, will help them to construct an ideal campus life including leisure activities. In addition, this will stop the waste of time and money and is likely to reevaluate the higher education system in several years. In short, I believe that the majority of college students are too young to manage their time responsibly and that universities should therefore impose strict rules on attendance.

GUILT

Guilt is the result of the violation of your own concept of what is right. Every individual has a value system, a system of justice, it's violation causes Guilt. It is an entirely internal phenomenon. It is something we do to ourselves because we feel we have done some wrong or have failed to do what we considered right. Either way we torture ourselves with self-incrimination. Having prosecuted ourselves we feel we are guilty, we ourselves pronounce the judgement.

Guilt can be classified into two types:-

1)     That stems from personal relationships.

2)     Those related to our role in the society.

When we fail to live up to our own expectations, hopes and fears and the relationships are close, greater guilt results.

The second type of guilt is what society teaches us, its expectations and demands. We develop a built-in value system whose violation causes guilt. We get influenced by guilt-builders in the society.

Inner Conflict is the result of subconscious programming with conflicting value, which results in conduct and behavior conflicts with professed values. We shall talk about it later when we deal with Goal setting.

Nothing is more destructive to human personality, than Fear, Guilt and Inner Conflict (Muna-fe-qat).

Whilst both fear and Guilt can be eradicated to some extent by "Auto-Hypnosis" perhaps religion has found a more efficacious answer. Fear is treated with Faith and Guilt by forgiveness, "Istaghfaar".

FEAR  and GUILT

Fear is an emotion, it is not rational or reasonable, you cannot reason with fear. There is always an object or thing which is not truth. Fear festers and festers to eventually destroy all human faculties, it is born of violations of Cosmic Laws.

Fear is when you afraid of something you consciously know of what is it that you are afraid of.

Anxiety is, when you do not know what bothers you.

Phobia is a combination of fear and anxiety. It occurs when you do not know what is it that you are afraid of but you think you know it.

Worry and Nervousness are particular kinds of fears in that they seldom ease over long periods. The person knows what he is afraid of but just lets the matter rest.

Psychologist till recently thought that the cause of fear was due to things that happened to us. Now there is a consensus that what is directly involved is that we think about these things and respond to them.

It is often False Evidence of Actual Reality.

Being afraid of becoming afraid is a great deal more common than some of the physical dangers. Fears are nothing more than states of mind.

A tendency to make a mountain out of a mole is the first step towards Fear. Indecision is the seedling to fear.

Napoleon Hill identifies six basic fears namely:-

1) Poverty, 2) Criticism, 3) Ill Health, 4) Lost Love, 5) Old Age, 6) Death.

Fear paralyses the faculty of reason, destroys the faculty of imagination, kills self-reliance, undermines enthusiasm, discourages initiative, leads to uncertainty of purpose, encourages procrastination, wipes out enthusiasm and makes self-control impossible, destroys the possibility of accurate thinking, takes the charm out of personality, diverts concentration of effort; it masters persistence, turns the will power into nothingness, destroys ambition, beclouds the memory, invites failures of all types, kills love and assassinates finer emotions of the heart, invites disasters in hundred forms, leads to misery and unhappiness.

The vibration of fear pass from one mind to another.

All fears are Negative emotions that violate the Natural Laws of Development.

The Mental Transformation

If we change the pattern of our thinking or acting, the brain cells begin to establish additional connections and "wirings". These new connections then communicate in fresh ways with other cells and before long, the path-ways or wirings that held our phobia or other habits are altered. All this is accomplished by mechanical means we call Auto-hypnosis. In the future post, more details will be posted.

A. The Cognitive Dissonance

In 1957 Leon Festinger published his theory of "Cognitive Dissonance".

"Cognitive" means an idea, opinion, view or a belief.

"Dissonance" means reacting, getting angry or being upset.

According to the theory, people get a psychological feeling that makes them to get angry, uncomfortable, irritated and stressful when they are confronted with views, opinions and beliefs or situations, contrary to their own beliefs and opinions they feel strongly about.

Such reactions tends to limit to a degree their perception and awareness of the perceived situation or opinions. This is called Cognitive Dissonance. It works to protect our conscious mind with scotomas and leads us to locking out useful opportunities needed to realise our full potential.

The creation of dissonance is distressful and produces a state of psychological tension. Our subconscious moves in to protect us from dissonance (anger) by blocking out from us the information that causes dissonance. It shuts us from some aspect of reality. We become resistant and react to new ideas and limit ourselves. The more different or discrepant the new information is from our own position the more dissonance and reaction we experience.

Generally this occurs when people are placed in new and unfamiliar situations. It could be a new job, new tools or new setting. The seetarian conflict and ethnic hatred or prejudice are the unfortunate illustrations of the theory.

The Subconscious works to protect our Conscious Mind from dissonance, when our conscious feels that tension. It builds scotomas or blind spots against information that does not match with our present beliefs.

This is what protects the Left Side Hemisphere and keeps it dominance over the Right Side.

Clustering

Before a decision is taken a lot of work and exploration goes on, data and facts are collected, to ensure a correct decision. However, after a decision is taken or a commitment is made then we cannot stand any criticism of it, we get upset if we are opposed. We tend to get people around to support our decision or views, they make us feel good and they look good for believing as we did. We cluster such people around us, the admiralties and the "loyalists". This is called Clustering.

Fear of Goals

If there is dissonance against new challenges, we rationalize into opting out of facing them, we hesitate to take up ventures requiring higher expectations, higher aims, such as to win a game, to complete a new job or go after a new client. Because of our belief structure, we hate to be confronted with the reality or goal we might not be able to achieve. We would quit taking the challenges of new goals.

Good Leaders

1.   They are very effective communicators.

      We communicate on three frequencies:

      a)  Remember, almost 70% of communications between man and man is non-verbal i.e., in terms              of Body Language.

      b)  Through spoken words.

      c)  Subconscious to Subconscious. Through intuition and instincts, the inner signals.                                 Communications are most effective when three frequencies are operating on TRUTH.

Communication is that of a message and not meaning, the receiver intercepts the meaning.

2.   They have courage of faith and convictions. They are not insecure people.

3.   Operating on truth is operating with Cosmic Energy.

4.   They have High Self-Images and Self-Esteem.

5.   They recognize that opposite views don't hurt.

6.   They know that what they are perceiving as truth, is merely their version of truth, may well be             half the truth.

7.   They are very analytical and skeptical about what they see. They would like to verify what they           perceive.

8.   They are always prepared to listen to others, to get to the real truth. They are always looking for         greater option.

9.   They are people of high Self-Esteem, always prepared to confront with new ideas and new ways         of doing things.

10.  They open up to greater challenges and higher goals. They are option thinkers and open minded.        They appreciate and encourage criticism and analysis.

11.  They sell their ideas by pure strength of conviction and do not force them on others.

12.  They are not hesitating and procrastinating.

13.  Good Leaders are honest, fair "I am OK and you are OK" people.

Low image and hesitating people need a lot of reassurance and proof that other people have tried the same thing before they succeeded. They also need constant of admiration, support and presence of loyal and approving people around them.

Low-Performers

Scotomas prevent low performers from seeing the real problems and therefore real solutions. They have a tendency to manipulate perceptions based on their pre-conceived notions to become opinionated, stubborn, rigid and even prejudiced. So they lock on to what is apparent and build scotomas to views that don't match with theirs. They would cling on to old ways of doing things instead of trying out new ones. They lock on to the past to ignore what is required of the future. They look to problems instead of working out solutions.
